The new Ghost in the Shell anime film series has kicked off with a trailer!
On June 22, the Ghost in the Shell: Arise Border 1: Ghost Pain anime film will release in theaters. On May 11, a trailer for the film was released on the series’ official site.
In the future, a society's intentions are connected by a cyberbrain due to the development of the information network and cyborg engineering. With the goal of preventing heinous crimes, the special military force Public Security Section 9 was established. So far in the series, the past of the heroine and full cyborg Motoko Kusanagi has been shrouded in mystery.
Kusanagi is investigating a murder case. However, while proceeding with the investigation, in order to toy around with her, many mysteries come into existence... Kusanagi and the Public Security Section 9’s Aramaki meet with Batou and Togusa and together investigate the odd “Fire Starter” virus in this heroic action and cyberbrain battle.
What is the truth? What is the reality? On the eve of Kusanagi being promoted to Major, the curtains open.
