“The Best in the World Exhibit” Features Technology Japan is Proud of, Including Hatsune Miku

On April 26, an exhibit called “The Best in the World Exhibit” opened. The exhibit showcases all kinds of Japanese technology that is praised throughout the world, including Hatsune Miku, foodstuff samples, and sushi robots. It is being held until Sept. 1 in the Knowledge Capital at the Osaka Technology Experience Institute.

The exhibit is broken up into different themed zones, with over 175 items on display. In the “Inventions that Changed Japan and the World” zone, attendees can see Cup Noodles like chicken ramen, Walkmans, and more, as well as be introduced to manufactured goods that spread from Japan to the world. In the “Discover! The World’s Best Live” zone, attendees can see Hatsune Miku, organic LED illumination, residential-use planetariums, Plarail, Hello Kitty, and more.

Also at the exhibit are stage performances titled “Best Skilled People in the World” and “Leading People in Each Field” that feature Guinness World Record holders. Furthermore, on May 17, the exhibit will collaborate with the popular real escape game company Scrap to hold a mystery game called “Rescue the Future from Thief Knowledge Boy and Capital Girl!”
