On April 24, Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo was released on Blu-ray and DVD. The following day, an awesome Evangelion and Schick collaboration began!
On the official site for the collaboration, Gendo Ikari is seen smiling ear-to-ear while shaving. The shock of him smiling is quite tremendous because he has never been seen in the series with such an expression!
Videos available on the site also feature Ikari and his smiling face promoting the charm of a refreshing shave with Schick products. There is no doubt that seeing Ikari’s unusually cheerful expression will put a smile on your face as well.
As part of the collaboration, special Schick razors are available in stores with stands that feature figures of popular characters from the series including Ayanami Rei and Asuka Langley, as well as Evangelion Unit-01 and Evangelion Mark.06. Earphone pins you can attach to the earphone jack of your smartphone are also part of the collaboration. There are seven pins available themed after Ayanami, Asuka, Mari, Shinji, Kaworu, and others popular characters. These charming pins feature a cute chibi version of each character. As soon as the earphone pins and figures run out, this collaboration will end.
