Microsoft Japan has announced that a limited quantity of Xbox 360 wireless special edition controllers will become available on June 6 in Japan. The controller will be available in other markets, including the U.S., in May.
The controller features a camouflage design and a transforming D-pad that switches from a traditional D-pad to a rolling joystick, allowing for greater accuracy in games, especially among action and fighting games.
The controller uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection with no delay. Of course, hookups for a headset and chatpad are also included. With three AAA batteries, the controller can last up to 40 hours.
