The Chiba Monorail Collaborates with “Oreimo” Once Again! Specially Designed Tickets Go on Sale!

The second season of Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (aka Oreimo) is well underway and is doing great. Recently, we reported on the collaboration monorail decked out in Oreimo illustrations that is zipping through the skies of Chiba, and now the newest project for the Chiba Urban Monorail has been announced.

The current collaboration revolves around special Oreimo “free tickets.” From April 27 to May 6, “holiday free tickets” were given out for the week of consecutive holidays in Japan known as Golden Week. From May 7 onward, “afternoon free tickets” are being given out. Unlike what the name implies, the tickets aren’t actually free. An adult ticket costs 600 yen and a children’s ticket costs 300 yen (each price includes tax). However, they allow for unlimited rides between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the day they are purchased. The tickets are limited to 1,000 each. Due to the excursion season beginning, these are perfect.

Fans of Oreimo can also enjoy a day packed with Oreimo on the monorail due to special tickets that allow travelers to ride the collaborative Oreimo monorail. Furthermore, tons of goods from Oreimo, including last year’s hugely popular commemorative monorail tickets, are on display at monorail stations. Make sure to check these out too if you get the chance!
