User-Contributed Anime Database Site “Ani-me” Opens

TMS Entertainment has opened Ani-me, a web service where you can keep track and manage the anime you have watched. They also released a smartphone app specifically for this service.

Ani-me has approximately 1,000 anime in its database and you can search for title, staff, and cast. The site is very convenient for people who watch a lot of anime, and after registration, you can manage your view-log online, so you can instantly tell apart the anime you have already watched from those you haven’t.

You can check the anime you’ve watched and sign up for those you want to watch. The site also has a function to make a real-time ranking based on all the users’ number of signups. There are plans for further perfecting the site with services such as reviews, tag editing, a community, and social watching.
