New Consecutive Quest “The Distant Promise” Released for “Dragon Quest X”

On April 1, the quest series “The Distant Promise” was released for the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online. The quest takes place on the continent of Eltona in Tsusukuru Village. So far, two episodes for the quest have been released: “Seek the Immortal One’s Elixir” and “Form Up! Wakaba Expedition!”

The first episode is a quest that only those who have met the sage Horo can partake in, and it can be accepted in the dining hall in Tsusukuru Village. When you talk with Konota Shishinota in the dining hall, you are told that shrine maiden Himea has become ill and you are asked to save her. During the quest, players will search for a way to produce the medicine Himea needs.

The second episode becomes available to those who clear the first episode. From the book found while searching for Himea’s medicine, players learn of a former area under Tsusukuru called “The Area of Ancient Times.” Players form an exploration party with non-playable characters and go on a search for this fabled place.

Episodes and quests for Dragon Quest X are planned to be released every week, meaning that the world of Dragon Quest X will surely keep expanding.
