On April 2, Sega Networks released screenshots of the fun puzzle RPG Puyo Puyo!! Quest and updated the game’s official site.
Puyo Puyo!! Quest is an app game for smartphones that was released on April 24. The game plays the same as past Puyo Puyo games, however, it has been optimized for smartphones and features easy, intuitive controls along with the exhilaration of building chains that anyone can enjoy.
The game has a feature called “Trace Erase,” which is also operated differently from past games. With this feature, players can use their fingers to trace either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally across blob chains that are collected at the bottom of the screen and they will disappear. This simple control keeps the game fast-paced and fun.
The official site for Puyo Puyo!! Quest has also been updated. Those who pre-registered for the game received five “Magic Stones” to use in the game. More information and news on this game is planned to be released periodically, so check out the official site.
