This summer, the TV anime adaptation of the popular game Hyperdimension Neptunia will begin broadcasting. Because of this, various promotional events are being held. On March 17, a stage event was held at the Dengeki Game Thanksgiving Festival 2013.
At the event, comments were made about Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory (which released in August of last year) being nominated for the Dengeki PlayStation Award 2012. The Dengeki PlayStation Award 2012 was held in commemoration of the game magazine Dengeki PlayStation’s 20th anniversary, and 20 of the best PlayStation games to release in 2012 were chosen by readers to win an award.
Afterword this, Rie Tanaka, a voice actress from the original work, answered questions. There was a lot of exciting talk about Hyperdimension Idol Neptunia PP releasing this year, the spin-off work Hyper Goddess Faith Noir: Super God Black Heart, as well as the anime Hyperdimension Neptunia.
Thereafter, various announcements were made in regard to the Neptunia anime and new game. It seems 2013 is stacking up to be a great year for this series!
