In recent years, a new way to enjoy anime has been trending. Fans will use their smartphones to post to their friends and fellow fans on Twitter while watching anime on their TV or computer. In March, a new app was introduced to make today’s popular way to enjoy anime more smooth and enjoyable. That app is called TwiAni.
TwiAni is a free app for smartphones developed by Media Factory. It’s main feature is its “Twitter Ranking Function” that automatically aggregates the comments for a given anime so fans can quickly see which ones are the most popular. Other features include a “Twitter Summary Function” that lets fans see other people’s comments on a given anime as a timeline, and a “Twitter Post Assistant Function” that lets fans easily post while watching an anime by attaching the appropriate hashtag.
In addition to these, TwiAni also has two convenient features for organizing news: the “Twitter Account at a Glance” and the “Anime News Database.”
