Inazuma Eleven is a very popular game series that has a record of six million games sold throughout the world. Similar to the previous installments in the series, Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy is marketed in various media such as games, anime, manga, and trading card games.

Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy takes place at the time of the junior soccer tournament Football Frontier International Vision 2 (FFIV2).
