On March 17, at the event “Dengeki Games Thanksgiving 2013 & Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival” in Akihabara, a special stage show was held for the anime A Certain Magical Index. As part of the show, voice stars from the anime took the stage to announce that the currently screening movie A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion would begin screening in 45 new theaters across Japan starting on April 6.
The movie first began screening in only 20 theaters, and it stayed in the top ten on the weekend rankings for three consecutive weeks. With the movie being expanded to more theaters, those in regions that previously weren’t screening the movie will now have their chance to see it. This may give the movie even more momentum and an even longer run in theaters.
Also at the stage show, the cast from the TV anime A Certain Scientific Railgun S, including Atsushi Abe, Yuka Iguchi, Rina Sato, Satomi Arai, Sachika MIsawa, Yoko Hikasa, and Ayane Sakura, discussed the inside scoop on the anime and the movie’s climax. They also reported that post-recording for the anime is going smoothly.
With A Certain Scientific Railgun S now broadcasting and the movie A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion enjoying success at the box office, there are many ways to enjoy this series.
