Ginga Kikoutai: Majestic Prince is a bold new entry in the robot anime genre. On March 29 at the Cinema Mediage in Odaiba, Tokyo, an advance screening of the first four episodes of the anime was held.
At the screening, five members of the cast who collectively make up Team Rabbit, which the main character belongs to, held a discussion. The members were Hiroki Aiba (Hitachi Izuru), Shintaro Asanuma (Asagi Toshikazu), Yoko Hikasa (Kugimiya Kei) Yuka Iguchi (Irie Tamaki), and Junya Ikeda (Suruga Ataru). Those who attended the screening received a promotional poster that is not being sold.
The anime began broadcasting on April 4 on Tokyo MX and TV Kanagawa. Its broadcast will widen to include Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, Nara TV, TV Setouchi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, and BS Nippon TV. In all, the anime will be broadcast on 26 channels throughout Japan.
