On Feb. 15, the Wii U game Pokémon Scramble U, which will be available this spring exclusively via download, was announced. The price is currently undetermined.
A derivative work of the original Pokémon series, this work is the most recent in the Pokémon Scramble action game series. All of the 649 Pokémon introduced up through Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 are represented as “omocha,” or toys. Gamers can choose to play as their favorite Pokémon from the 649 Pokémon omocha. Since there are more than several hundred usable skills, there are various methods of winning. Many Pokémon may appear in one battle, and at times players may battle against 100 Pokémon. Since defeated Pokémon immediately join the player’s team, a huge amount of Pokémon can be gathered.
Also, since the game’s multiplayer mode enables up to four people to play together, players can join forces to battle a strong enemy, compete with the number of Pokemon they have collected, and enjoy playing the game with friends.
