“Peacemaker Kurogane” Becomes an ANiMiX, DVD to Release in May

Nanae Chrono’s Edo period historical manga Peacemaker Kurogane has become an ANiMiX, the DVD for which will be released in limited quantities through the Animate and Mag Garden online stores. The title of the DVD is “Peacemaker Kurogane Abura Koji Hen DVD ANiMiX Ver.” It will be released on May 31 and cost 3,980 yen (tax included). ANiMiX, by the way, is when an original manga is made into a video with voice overs and sound effects. Differing from a traditional anime created by a third party, an ANiMiX is based on the manga itself, and brings it to life without changing it.

Peacemaker Kurogane was originally serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan and Monthly Comic Blade. The work became popular due to the TV anime that was broadcast from 2003 to 2004. After that, the follow-up work Peacemaker Kurogane Abura Koji Hen began serialization on the digital publication site Comic Seymour.

It has been confirmed that the ANiMiX DVD will come with a 16-page manga and illustration pamphlet drawn by Chrono. Furthermore, on the product page on Animate, new pictures from the ANiMiX have been posted. The site is also planned to be updated with the latest information on the DVD.
