Anime Announced for Light Novel “Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyo,” Commemorative Campaign Held

From Feb. 15-21, on the digital book distribution platform BOOK☆WALKER, a campaign was implemented in commemoration of the light novel Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyo being adapted into an anime.

Those who purchased volume 6 of the light novel received a special message from the work’s author, Shunsuke Sarai, and illustrator, Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. Furthermore, volumes 1-5, as well as the spin-off story, were being sold at a special price.

Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyo tells the story of Harumi Kazuhito, a boy who is killed by a robber and comes back to life as a Dachshund only to be adopted by Natsuno Kirihime, a sadistic, scissor-wielding writer who is infatuated with Japanese people. The work is an irrational comedy that won the Excellence Award at the 12th Entame Awards.
