Sasami runs into her mother after school on the street at dusk. Her mother, dressed in miko attire, is stern but cute, just as she was in the past, and Sasami is filled with nostalgia.
After having fun shopping with her mother for the first time as they browse an electronics store and video game arcade, the two of them have dinner and Sasami tells her mother something she didn't want to.

Sasami's mother, who is supposed to be dead, appears in front of Sasami. Sasami and her mother, who is both parent and mentor, have a normal day out together, something they couldn't do when she was alive. Though enjoying herself as they shop at an electronics store, clothes stores and a video arcade, Sasami feels guilty not telling her mother that she's dead.
However, her mother has not changed as a reflection of Sasami's wishes. After negotiating with the king of the underworld, Sasami's mother has come back of her own accord to return Sasami to the Tsukuyomi Shrine.
The Yagami sisters fight with all their strength to protect Sasami, but they are no match for the former Tsukuyomi Shrine miko, who is also wielding a magic sword that has slayed gods.
In the end, Sasami chooses to train with her mother to become a miko in order to save the remaining sister, Tama. With this uncharacteristically serious development, the next episode cannot be missed.
