First New Lupin the Third Anime Series in 30 Years to Broadcast First in Italy

Production on a new TV series for the anime Lupin the Third was announced at MIPCOM held in Cannes, France on Oct. 15 (JST). This will be the first TV series for the franchise in 30 years since 1985’s Lupin the Third: Part III.

The new series will be set in San Marino, Italy. The broadcast will begin in spring 2015, and the worldwide premiere broadcast will take place on the network Italia RTI. The broadcast schedule for Japan has not yet been announced.
