Sasami finally goes to school. Her current goal is to make friends and enjoy what little time remains of her first year in high school.
Except, she doesn't know how to make any... Embarrassed, she goes to her classmate Kagami and asks her to be a "practice friend."
Though Sasami is unable to hide her excitement over having made her first friend, Kagami, on the other hand, takes on a somewhat cold attitude...

A basic task for most, Sasami, who was living as a recluse due to the powers she inherited from the greatest of the gods, doesn't know what to do.
She starts with Kagami, who knows her situation, and tries to make her a friend, but for some reason Kagami keeps having bad luck and ends up becoming cold. Now even beginning to regret her decision to go outside, a disheartened Sasami learns the truth from Tama...
Sasami witnesses Kagami fighting spirits off in order to become her real friend and, throwing aside the idea of "practice friends," closes her in an embrace, allowing true feelings of friendship to grow between them.
This was most certainly a necessary detour for both Kagami, a robot who wanted to be a foolish and weak, but also warm, human, and Sasami, who spent her days running away from her training because of the godly powers she inherited, to find the "normal" friends they had been wishing for.
