First Cosplay Event Held at Popular Anime-Related Musical Venue, Nihon-Seinenkan

On March 2, 2013, the cosplay event “ACOS photosession in Nihon-Seinenkan” was held. The Nihon-Seinenkan is well known among both anime fans and musical fans alike due to it being a place where various anime-related musicals and other events have taken place.

At the event, participants were able to hold cosplay photography sessions all over the venue, including on stage, in the dressing room, in the audience seating area, in the lobby, and on the stairs. Furthermore, professional lighting was used on the stage and participants were able to have photo shoots on stage using the lighting to full effect. Of course, cosplay dressing rooms and checkrooms were also set up.

Participants were even able to hold photo shoots backstage, which is a rare experience. Needless to say, this event seemed very popular with cosplayers.
