Tie-in Campaign for “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” Begins at KFC

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will be released in Japan on March 30. On Feb. 7, a campaign to tie in with the movie began at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurants all over Japan. The campaign features special meals called “Smile Sets with Strongest Battle Goods - Parents and Kids Play Together!” available for purchase.

KFC offers two kinds of smile sets: the Smile Chicken Set, which comes with original chicken and French fries, and the Smile Crispy Set, which comes with Colonel’s crispy chicken, a biscuit, and French fries.

The Dragon Ball Z smile sets come in a box that features illustrations of popular characters from the series, such as Son Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. The smile sets also come in three varieties, each with their own battle game: Battle Reversi, Battle Playing Cards, and Board Game Battle.
