GREE and gumi have announced that a new social game called GTO x Shonan Junai Gumi! Full Throttle will begin service this winter. The game will be free to play, but will feature microtransactions.
Full Throttle is an RPG themed around Tooru Fujisawa’s manga GTO and Shonan Junai Gumi!. Players fight against rival characters from the manga, clear missions, and strengthen their motorcycles while aiming to create to strongest team.
GTO follows the main character of Shonan Junai Gumi!, Eikichi Onizuka, and depicts his days as a teacher. GTO has become a long-running, highly popular work and was even been adapted into a drama. The social game collaboration between these two works is a dream collaboration for fans.
Following the announcement of the game, pre-registration for the game began. All those who pre-register will receive a limited Onizuka card as a present. For those who are interested, check out the official site to pre-register now.
