On Jan. 11, 2013, new downloadable content for the Nintendo 3DS game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity was released. The new content consists of three new dungeons of varying levels of difficulty.
“Pokapoka Mountain” (150 JPY) is a mountain dungeon where fire types such as Tepig and Flareon are common and where moves develop easily. It requires 67 blocks of data. Items available include the Pass Scarf, the Weather Band, the Twist Band, and the Friend Bow. There are 15 floors in the dungeon.
“Sweets Road” (200 JPY) is a dungeon where players can earn a lot of experience points. There are 20 floors in the dungeon. Items found here include donuts, which allow Pokémon to gain experience simply by eating them, and apples, which are a necessary item in some dungeons that appear after the ending. This download uses 41 blocks of data.
“Ultimate Desert” (300 JPY) is a dungeon aimed at advanced players that strives to go beyond ordinary. In this dungeon, players are allowed only one Pokémon, and Pokémon start at level 5 (upon exiting the dungeon, the Pokémon returns to its original level). There are 99 floors, and players can receive the exclusive item “Testimony of Courage”. 39 blocks of data are required.
Why not roll up your sleeves and give each of these dungeons a try?
