“Hayate” x “Kami Nomi” Joint Concert to Be Held

The popular manga Hayate the Combat Butler (*Hayate no Gotoku!*) and The World God Only Knows (*Kami Nomi zo Shiru Zekai*), also known as Kami Nomi, are both currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Both works have been made into anime adaptations, and both are loved by fans. The third season of the TV anime for Hayate, titled Hayate the Combat Butler: Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, recently finished broadcasting, and a third season for Kami Nomi is scheduled to begin later this year.

On April 21, 2013, at Pacifico Yokohama, a collaboration concert called “Hayate no Gotoku x Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai Joint Concert 2013 Honjitsu, Mankai Sakurairo!” is planned to take place. Four performers have been scheduled so far. Performers from Hayate include Shizuka Ito, who voices the character Katsura Hinagiku, and Haruka Yamazaki, who voices the character Suirenji Ruka. Performers from Kami Nomi include Nao Toyama, who voices Nakagawa Kanon, and Saori Hayami, who voices Haqua. The popularity of these characters is sure to make the concert a great success!

Furthermore, collaboration CDs featuring various characters from these two series will be released on Feb. 13. The first CD is titled Advance and features “Katsura Hinagiku & Haqua Starring Ito Shizuka & Hayami Saori”. The second CD is titled Ringo Ribbon and features “Nakayama Kanon & Suirenji Ruka Starring Toyama Nao & Yamazaki Haruka”. Both CDs will be released simultaneously.
