Latest Ending Theme of “Valvrave the Liberator” to Release This June

The second ending theme of Valvrave the Liberator by the powerful female singer Elisa will finally release. On June 19, for the first time in about a year, Elisa will release a new single. Elisa’s voice overflows with a sense of transparency and represents the world of Valvrave the Liberator on the song “Soba ni Iru yo.” Furthermore, a large event that Elisa will participate in is planned. A lot of excitement can be seen leading up to the release of this new single.

Elisa wrote the song lyrics of the long-awaited single “Soba ni Iru yo” herself. Still, the lyrics of the coupled tracks were a joint work. The ambitious work feels as if it is approaching a new type of music.

Regular, anime, and first press limited editions of the CD single will release. The special bonus for the first editions of the CD is an original message card that is different for each edition. The first press limited edition will include a DVD with a music video, and the anime limited edition comes in a specially illustrated digipak. The first, regular, and anime edition singles will each cost 1,500 yen, 1,200 yen, and 1,300 yen, respectively (tax included).

Various events are planned in conjunction with the single’s release. First, on release day, a talk and live concert will be held exclusively for Elisa’s newsletter members. It will be Elisa’s first event since becoming active again within the music world.

On July 27 and 28, a free event will be held for those who purchased Elisa’s CD. Furthermore, on Sept. 29, Elisa plans to perform at a Valvrave the Liberator special event to be held at Pacifico Yokohama.

In 2007, Elisa debuted with the opening theme “Euphoric Field” for the anime Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two. Since then, she has performed theme songs for various hit works including Hayate the Combat Butler and A Certain Scientific Railgun.

Her achievements include performing at the largest anime song event in Japan, “Animelo Summer Live,” for four consecutive years (2008 - 2011) and having performed successful large-scale, solo concerts and other live events.
