“Tamako Market” Volume 1 Blu-ray and DVD to Be Released in March

Kyoto Animation’s original anime Tamako Market has been one of the most talked about anime in the 2013 winter season. Many of the staff who made KyoAni’s other original anime K-On! such a big hit both in Japan and overseas are also working on Tamako Market.

New information regarding the Blu-ray and DVD of Tamako Market has been revealed. Along with the confirmation that the Blu-ray and DVD will span six volumes, it was announced that the first volume will go on sale on Mar. 20.

Included in the first limited edition is a CD of the song “My Love’s Like” from episode one, a special 24 page full-color booklet, and special postcards illustrated by character designer Yukiko Horiguchi. Included on the disk is a special short anime called “Dera’s BAR”, a photograph report of the show’s scenery, the first and second episodes of the original voice drama “Mochi Mochi Radio Drama”, and more!

This is shaping up to be a great volume for Tamako Market fans. If you want the limited edition, you’d better pre-order it soon!
