The second volume of the anime Busou Shinki will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Jan. 23, 2012. The volume will include the third episode, “Clash! Battle Trike!”, and fourth episode, "It's a Race! One Lap Around the Park!". The jacket was specially created by Ryoma Ebata, who was also in charge of the anime’s character design. In line with the usual practice of including bonuses with the first edition, the Blu-ray and DVD will come with an exclusive 1/1 scale wall scroll of Hina.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Blu-ray and DVD are packed with even more goodies including a special booklet, limited priority entry lottery ticket to the Busou Shinki special event “Busou Kami Hime Fest - Master no Tame no Festival”, as well as an audio commentary from cast members Kana Asumi, Kaori Mizuhashi, Megumi Nakajima, director Yasuhito Kikuchi, and other staff members. An audio commentary from staff members is considerably rare. Fans are sure to be wondering what was on the their minds while making the anime, and now they can find out!
Furthermore, each anime store will have different freebies prepared for those who buy the Blu-ray or DVD, including a small box perfect for receipts, a bath poster, a travel cup, a collection of original pictures, and more. There are so many special favors fans will want, it’s definitely going to be difficult to decide where to purchase a copy!
By the way, it has already been announced that the third volume will be released on Feb. 20, 2013. Look forward to it!
