Faced with Judal’s fierce attacks, Aladdin and Ugo fight back together. With Judal defeated, the princess of the Kou Empire, Kogyoku Ren, appears and uses her powerful Djinn to critically wound Ugo. Having used so much of his Magoi, Aladdin faints from exhaustion. With Ugo running wild, Kogyoku Ren uses her power to pin down Ugo and is set to deliver the final blow on Aladdin and the gang. However, Sinbad intervenes and convinces her to stay her hand. Due to Sinbad’s cool demeanor, there are many fans who mistake the main character for Sinbad, saying, “Sinbad’s charisma definitely overshadows Alibaba’s as the main character!”
While Sinbad comforts and leads the oppressed people, Alibaba, who is feeling very unsure of himself, cowardly laments, “I can’t do anything; I can’t take away their anxiety and fears.” It is then that Balbadd’s viceroy Sabhmad arrives to speak with Alibaba about the country’s worsening condition, and informs Alibaba of King Abhmad’s terrifying plan to sell the people of Balbadd into slavery. How will this plan be stopped and the country’s people saved if Alibaba cannot regain his self-confidence to lead the people? Even though the series has its lighthearted moments, the story’s tempo is now really starting to pick up and become more serious. Anticipation swells for how the story will develop in the next episode.
