This book is thick! The images are of high quality and the paper has a nice feel. Besides artwork, there are also interviews and discussion of the original character designs of ALKALOID and Crazy:B.
The beginning of the book is various illustrations like the Walk with Your Smile group images, Eichi with idol plushies, and what seems to be brand collaborations. The next section features character profiles with basic info, main character & initial card art, and chibis. After that, it is clean art of every event and scout up to Rei's feature scout "Guide of Chaos & Love". Hiiro's Ensemble with Senpai art is there too. It even includes event logos and 3 star...Read more
It's important to say this is truly a reference catalog, NOT a tutorial on how to draw boy clothes. It's about the size and thickness of a thin manga book too.
However, I adore this book because for at least half of the book, each page has 2 different full outfits. Then, it gets a little more detailed about the different types of sleeves, outerwear, pants, bags, hats, and glasses. The fashion doesn't get really wild, but it shows nice, casual and formal clothes you would like to see a modern anime boy wear.
I like it! The book is about the size of writing paper and is fairly thick- like a typical manga volume. The poses vary from standing cool with guns, fist fighting, throwing kicks, group fights, flipping, grabbing, to jumping. Most, if not all, poses have 2 versions: minimal coverage and suits. Great references for both muscle movement and clothing folds.
It's important to note that despite having loads of photos and angles, some images are kinda small. I recommend taking pictures with your phone to help zoom in on the details or draw over digitally.
I absolutely recommend this. It teaches you 3 different sizes of chibi bodies. It starts with how to hold your pen and draw strokes, the difference in chibi types, to knowing the measurements of making an appealing chibi character. The book covers clothing, eyes, hair, head, arms, legs, expressions, etc. There are tons of poses and even line-by-line tutorials.
You also don't need to know Japanese to understand. The book is as thick as a regular manga volume and about as big as writing paper, so there is a lot of value!
I'm so happy! The figure looks just like the picture.
The blush is light, but more visible than the blushing faceplate my Victor nendoroid has.
I think this book would be suitable for digital artists with a lot of experience, instead of beginners. The steps are also based on Photoshop. However, I believe it's possible to get around most of that if you have another art program.
The pictures are amazing! The artist is talented. I don't understand Japanese, but I can get an idea of what it is explaining through pictures, which the book has many. It would definitely help if you can read it, so you'll know where to go in Photoshop.
It has tutorials on trees, flowers, the sky, water, rocks, fences, curtains, Japanese interior & architecture, and modern buildings. It also gives tips on lighting, shading...Read more
I realized there were slight skin variations between my Nendoroids when I attempted to switch two hairstyles.
Peach isn't tan, but is pinkish light skin. It can really make a difference though. So, I bought both Peach and Cream!
I'm happy that there is a version with darker skin. It really is a soft light brown. There are not many Nendoroids with this skin tone, but this doll body will help me make a Nendoroid of one of my favorite characters!
First, the head is very good quality as expected of Good Smile Company. It comes in a little cube box with authentic GSC design.
However, it may not perfectly fit other faceplates. I took a faceplate from one of my new Nendoroids to make him look bald. It held together, but it was loose. This created a gap between the faceplate and the top.
If you buy this, you may need a little tape if you choose to use the top and back of the head with a faceplate from another figure.
I like that there is another skin tone. The variety of hand gestures is awesome! They fit well.
Sturdy and great condition! It comes in a little orange box with Good Smile Company on it.
This is good for more poses for photos. I can also practice making cute clothes for my Nendoroids!
I may edit this later to list which of my Nendoroids match this skin tone.
I love this reference book series, including this one. There are so many angles of poses, so I don't have to worry about guessing which angle my drawing would be best with.
I am fond of the very intimate poses (There is tongue!), the kissing with glasses, as well as the strange but cute cat kiss.
Each type of pose has one example illustration.
I like this book a lot. It shows 3 muscular body types: Slim (スリム), Fine/Slender Macho (細マッチョ), and Macho (マッチョ). These types are color coded too.
The book contains a lot of pictures with both illustrations and real models. It tells the height of the models too! All model photos can be viewed together at the back of the book.
It contains information on proportions, placements on the body, various types of muscles, necks, shoulders, abs, back muscle, butts, thighs, etc. There are many poses as well! I REALLY needed the guide for shading & lighting. If you do not know Japanese, but you are...Read more
This art guide is an even mix between normal illustrated references and manga. If you do not know Japanese, you will miss a lot of humor and maybe drawing tips.
Nonetheless, you can still get an idea of what the manga parts are conveying! The references are also nicely made.
Also, the simplistic faces are cute and charming.
These accessories are so fun! I like the variety of colors and poses. It's amusing that each have a sculpted, round butt.
I also love that the red and blue versions have flat chests. It adds variety, as well as opens the option to apply the accessories to male characters.
The box set really does include bonus hair parts! That was what I wanted the most. It has the hair bangs, the back plate, the white hair bun, and neck part. The hair has a small hole where the hair bun can be attached.
The set comes in an authentic GoodSmile box, and each accessory is in a small cube box - 6 in total.
All limbs & hands are movable and can be detached. Also, the South Korean dress seems to be a one-piece, unlike the maid outfit.

Very cute! Comes in clear plastic packaging and cardboard background resembling the game.
I can tie it to my phone case or 3DS!
I was surprised how busty this doll is compared to how the other female dolls looked. She even comes with white panties!
The dress was difficult to put on, but I expected it. I recommend detaching the head and hands first. Then, move back the sleeves, so you can reattach the hands. The velcro in the back may take a few tries.
If you are going to change the faceplate or give the hair to another nendoroid, consider that this doll actually has a high hairline. Faceplates with smaller eyes make it look like it has a big forehead. Also the ribbon cannot be removed from the hair.
I really like this character, and now I can pose him with Joker! He comes with many hand/arm parts. Like Joker, the large mask is attached to front hair, and includes a separate front hair piece. His angry expression is my favorite.
Do not be fooled by the sword parts. The hilt is detachable, so you can attach it to the sheath or blade. It's cool that the sword can be placed in the sheath too. Great detail!
Interestingly, the tail can be moved too. I didn't take the risk of seeing whether or not it's detachable though.
I'm a big fan of The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, so I really wanted to get a Nendo Lan Wangji to complement my Nendo Wei Wuxian. He is so cute!
His hair is unique. The top-knot is connected to the back hair plate and cannot be detached. The hair plates are evenly split in half and do not follow the bangs like Wei Wuxian's does. His antenna bangs are completely detachable, which makes switching the forehead ribbon pieces easier. The bangs were surprisingly easy to reattach.
Besides the arms, the body has 3 parts. The chest, the "skirt", and the legs. Be careful with the tassel attached to the belt. It feels more fragile.
One of the facepl...Read more
I played AKIBA CATCHER and had a good time playing the different claw games. I won a prize too! It was a cute striped purse.
I noticed a worker adjust the prize a little after I was struggling for a long time. I'm very thankful!
I've never customized a Nendoroid before because it's risky. With this head, I can practice! I recommend the guide on Kahotan's Blog. The title starts with "Painting a Nendoroid Expression Part 1".
I like that there are different skin tones. (I'll eventually get all 4). There are not many tan faceplates, so at least I can try to make my own!
The head comes in a little box just like the Nendoroid More face swaps and body parts. Mine was packed and delivered very safely.
This figure is great if you have difficulty posing 3D models. While he cannot do everything (ex: Touch his shoulder or completely sit on calves), the figure is very flexible. Just pose, attach to stand, and take as many photos as you need!
I also like that his face has some definition. I often get confused when getting the right angle of the nose and eye brows.
Don't be afraid to move the body parts or switch hands around. I put mine into various poses and it is sturdy. I was surprised that the neck can moved too.
This book is very useful like the other reference books in this series. You get several angles of each pose. Every pose has an example drawing.
The back of the book has a comical take of one of the poses. There is a mini comic too, which is very funny even if you don't understand Japanese.
This book is very useful! I tend to have a pose in mind, but unable get the angle right. With this book, I can get any angle that looks pleasing to the eye. It also includes various angles of holding hands.
There is a joke pose at the back of the book. There is also a mini comic, which includes another very silly pose. I recommend drawing your ship with that one.
The hand parts come in a little plastic bag and has the official name on the cardboard attached. I bought different versions, including the doll bodies. Although small altogether, TOM still made sure to completely stuff the packaging to keep the content safe. It was funny to find!
I'm glad I got these while available!
I like his expressions! It's neat that the long hair in the front are detachable, so you don't have to worry about breaking them when adjusting parts.
The ponytail is detachable, but the red hair is not a separate piece from the head.
Be careful with the bangs. They are sharp! Also, I'm not sure how to explain it, but there is definitely a way to detach and reattach the front hair without worrying about damage. I think I had the head facing toward my right. Then, I was able to get my thumb to fit just right so the front hair was removed easily.
The blushing tsundere face plate is my favorite.
His skin tone is more on the yellow side, so he might match the Almond Nendoroid Body more than the Cream version.
I'm so happy to have a USA nendoroid! He is still my favorite character after all these years!
It's awesome that he comes with many accessories. It's worth the price.
The design makes the figure versatile with other nendoroid parts. I enjoy playing Mr. Love: Queen's Choice, so I'm glad I ordered this before knowing about the app. I like Victor!
The only thing that bothers me is the blush. It's a little light in the picture, but the one I have is barely visible. It's very hard to see.
He comes with numerous hand parts. I like the face plates and fluffy hair!
Interestingly, the set comes with 2 front hair parts. One is just hair, while the other has the mask attached.
The design is not complex, just right. It's great for mixing and matching with other Nendoroids!
The best part is the hair because the ribbon is detachable! The ponytail is separate too.
I bought several of these boxes and I love all of them! I got every set that I wanted. None were the ones I disliked, so I'm very lucky!
The items are very interesting because most of them can be separated. It's useful for creating scenes.
Examples: The liquid can be removed from the cup. Plates and bowls can also be emptied. The tea pot has a removable handle and lid. The main dishes that I have, besides curry rice, are in individual pieces.
Every box includes a little pamphlet. KEEP IT. The back of the pamphlet are cut-outs, such as a restaurant sign, a receipt, open schedule sign, a toy coupon, napkins, cup coasters, etc. The type of paper cut-out vari...Read more
I was surprised I got almost exactly what is shown in the picture. Instead of a peach colored bag, I got white. All products were packaged well. No damage.
The large bag I received can't fit a laptop, but it can fit a small tablet with room left, like for a phone and wallet.
Great presents for friends that are cat lovers.
As the description says, it includes all 9 facial parts. The small box is made like a cardboard case where you press around to open the lid.
The shiny eyes are my favorite!
I love Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai, so I bought this issue because they are on the front cover.
The bonus gift is a book the size of one volume of manga. The cover is Hananoi's face up close, kissing Hotaru's hand! I'm not sure what it is about. I only understand that the book includes several different stories from Dessert.
It's really cool that they have every angle for each pose. Great reference on intimate positions.
When creating poses with a body-kun or digital figure, sometimes I'm unsure if the angle is best aesthetically. This book helps me decide without moving figures as much or swiping between 2 pictures repeatedly.
A little warning: Although most of the book is outlines of the human body, there are full-drawn examples of each pose too. (Manga art with faces, sweat, and everything) It was surprising, but still very useful!
It even comes with a mini comic
Not only do you get Kenma in regular clothes, the clothing parts and accessories can easily match with other Nendoroids.
The background is good if you want to recreate the "sleeping on lover's shoulder" scene.
I bought the otter and it's super soft. Great present for otter-loving friends.
The snout seems to be glued-on hard felt, but it's strongly attached.
I bought Usamofu (Blue Ribbon) and Mofurin because they remind me of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. (Characters from Mo Dao Zu Shi / Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation)
They are cute, chubby bunnies. They do squeak! Slightly bigger than I thought.
Paint may be somewhat off around the ears. (My Usamofu has a dark pink speck) The white over black on Mofurin is a little faint at the edges. They are still very good value to me, since you can get them for less than $2!
Good quality as expected of Good Smile Company's Nendoroids.
I really like the soft fabric. Pattern and color is just like the photo.
Pay attention to the size chart. I usually get woman size large online, which is close to XL for this shirt. The XL fits well!
The one I received is a lighter gray than shown in the photo. This is good because it's more accurate to the movie.
About the size of my thumb. It also comes with an Approved Studio Ghibli tag.
I like 3-way rubber straps because it allows more ways to attach them to stuff. (Smartphone, Nintendo 3DS, bracelets, etc)
Reasonable size and good material. I want more cute kitties!
I picked the yellow version, because of the silly face, and I'm happy with it! My friends like it too.
It's not the type of folder that opens like a book, but the pockets are useful. If you received a clear file folder as an omake before, it's the same size and feel.
I don't get the chance to buy Nendoroid More Parts much, so I had to get this! Works well with all my nendoroids and provides a lot of potential photo ideas.
I bought this figure to use as an art reference for drawing chibis. I'm glad it comes with a basic stand. It's just as cute in person!
Everything is in the box as described. I bought this when they had a special for a free display box with purchase. The box is fairly big! I could probably fit 2 or 4 nendoroids in it.
She is so cute! The figure is painted nicely.
The pictures and description are accurate. The hair seems strong and the eyes are painted nicely.
Fun to use for chibi art reference!
He is so cute! The parts come apart or attach well like other Nendoroids.
Just be careful the hair. It has a lot of ends pointing out that can potentially hit something solid and cause tiny chips.
The strap is nicely made , including the metal. I also about the Nagisa phone charm.
Like in the photo, Rei strangely has a hair line through one of his ears. This does not bother me though. (Like when eyebrows are seen through hair)
The strap is fine and the charm itself feels like good quality. Nothing blurry.
I was hesitant because the pink eyes were a little weird, but it's much nicer with another phone charm (I also bought the Rei charm).
The pins look nicer in person! Also, they are the size of a U.S. quarter or a soda bottle cap.
They look and feel like good quality. I'm going to place them on my messenger bag.
If you like stinky food or strange flavors, try this!
The crackers are not hard as they look. Rice crackers tend to have a smell, which I forgot about. I recommend this to people that are familiar with rice crackers! The cheese was bizarre. Definitely not Ritz Bits, but I wouldn't mind eating it again.
Also, if these are sent to a warm place (really hot where I live currently), the cheese will likely melt off the crackers within the plastic wrapper. I don't blame anyone, it's just something that can happen.
The biscuits are about the size of a soda bottle cap or a quarter. There is around ~12 pieces in the box.
It's kind of like Hello Panda Biscuits snacks, but the outside is soft. I think it's better to carefully chew into smaller bits, so the creamy inside can be enjoyed. Otherwise, it will be mostly bread.
Contains 10 individually wrapped pieces. It's true that the candy is soft! They're not hard like Starburst.
Think about a fresh strawberry vs a strawberry flavored candy. This candy is like that, but with plum flavor. I never had plum candy before, so it tasted strange. However, it became more enjoyable as I had more melt in my mouth. Oddly, I thought of plum AND flowers when thinking about how it tastes. That's not a negative thing though.
Tastes just as described! It has the shape, texture, and crunch of a stackable chip that I love. They do taste like a sweet potato that turned into chips. I think it has the right balance of sweetness and potato chip.
Interestingly, the chips are in a wrapper. (The lid is partially glued to the top of the container)
Body-kun is much better than my wooden mannequin! The joints feel strong, so don't be afraid to bend, twist, and extend the body parts.
However, buyers should expect some limitations, since figures are not fleshy and organic. Body-kun is able to touch all parts of his head (front, back, chin, ear, etc.), including the neck with his hands. He can definitely touch various sections of the back (both upper & lower). I wasn't able to get his hand to touch the top of his shoulder on the same side, but I sort of could with the opposite shoulder.
The legs can be spread at greater than a 90 degree angle, but doesn't seem capable of doing the splits. The arms can ...Read more
The Cherry Blossom lucky cat made me feel happier after each day of school. I would be sad sometimes, but watching it sway side-to-side still made me smile.
The case is made of plastic with decorative cardboard background. It's possible to take the Maneki-Neko out, but I prefer how safe and nice they look inside.
Consider the size! They are little, but not THAT little. I somewhat underestimated how big something round and 4.3" tall really is.
Remember to read the Note section. It's true it activates when the panel receives artificial or partial sunlight. Although it does not give reason why not to put it in direct light, I noticed it will swa...Read more
I adore Rufu! The material made out of this plush feels nice to pet or rub against your cheek. The fur on the neck is especially soft.
The Fumofuno-san plush have arms that are fun to swing around like they are flailing. It also helps them have support if you want to hold the plush in your shirt.
The product may differ slightly from the picture. For example, the white curves around the face are asymmetrical in the image, but are symmetrical on my own Rufu plush. Mine also has a slight gap between the neck fur and the face.
However, I will rate it 5 because I love him as he is. The plush looks like he is in good condition to me.
I knew the magazine was thick, but wow! It's interesting that the entire magazine uses color, rather then keep the outlines black & white.
The clutch bag comes folded inside a box, so it inevitably has a crease, unfortunately. The bag is about twice the size of the magazine. One side is metallic pink and the other is a fabric pattern. It won't hold a lot, but you should be able to keep school supplies or stationary inside. It's pretty cute and the quality is reasonable in relation to the price.
I bought 2 of these and I'm happy with them! I received the polka dots and leopard panties. It was bothersome that I was given the leopard version at first (least favorite pattern), but I've grown to like them. The panties look charming on small plushies.
They fit other bottles besides water. I tested them on 16.9 and 20 fl oz sizes (500 ml & 591 ml) too.
The panties and mini pamphlet are neatly contained in a taped capsule. Also, although the description says the product is a blind box item, you can clearly see what is inside the capsule toy. Perhaps TOM just sends what they are given.
