Shueisha Inc. was first founded in 1925 as a subsidiary of Shogakukan, becoming an independent magazine and manga publishing company. These days, Shueisha is the publisher of several of Japan’s most high profile manga magazines including: Ribon, Margaret, Bessatsu Margaret, Weekly Shonen Jump, Non-no, Roadshow, Monthly Seventeen, Monthly Shonen Jump, Weekly Young Jump, You, Cobalt, Super Jump, V Jump, Cocohana, Ultra Jump, Cookie, Monthly Young Jump, and Jump SQ.
