Kadokawa is a large scale Japanese media conglomerate active in all areas of entertainment from movies to books, music, and anime, as well as owning several other media concerns including ASCII Media Works, Enterbrain, and Media Factory.

Kadokawa’s publishing wing, Kadokawa Shoten, publishes a number of high circulation magazines including: Asuka, Comp Ace, Comptiq, Gundam Ace, Kerokero Ace, Newtype, Shonen Ace, The Sneaker, Young Ace, Altima Ace, and Another.

Kadokawa also publishes some of the most popular manga of recent years including Haruhi Suzumiya, Cowboy Bebop, Deadman Wonderland, Highschool of the Dead, Lucky Star, Nichijou, and Mirai Nikki.
