People actually getting real fussy about slight price increment.A real collector won't even go that far, everyone is forgetting the amount of skills and details require for making figures.
It used to be much cheaper over a decade ago; a figure liked this one would have been around $15 to 20 back then. I remember reading that the cost of clay making these figures was rising due to the difficulties of making the clay. Just liked everything else, prices never go down, just rises up every year.
As a collector from the 90s, I watched it rise year by year. Normally, I would buy figures from CDJapan (cheaper than site). This site comes in second or third for my purchases.

See, with these figures the increase in price isnt that much of a problem to me, its just im not willing to pay that much for figures as small as these. Might pick up this one in the future closer to the release date though because this ones really pretty
Fr, if PUPs were like $20-ish then I would see that as reasonable. But for being less than 7" tall and costing upwards of $30, sometimes pushing $40 or well over, it's not really worth it IMO.
Some prize figures are like $20-$25 and can be nearly a foot tall, which is a pretty good deal, I believe.

yeah, whats the point of PUP as a budget line anymore if it costs this much, and there is no reason to believe the quality is improving. The PUPs that have been releasing over the past year have been getting worse and worse, even the fine details on okakoro that just released aren't properly painted

That's why you take advantage of every single coupon/promotion possible. The highest I can consistently get is $30 USD off anything.
