The 14th round of the Toho Megane series of glasses from high quality eyewear brand Shitsuji Megane Eye Mirror is here, and joining the lineup this time is the mysterious girl from the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Koakuma, and an updated version based on the Scarlet Devil Mansion’s intellectual librarian, Patchouli!
Made with the full support of Touhou Project creator Team Shanghai Alice, the Koakuma model glasses feature full-rimmed black frames with removable devil wing details on each side, and the red temple tips also feature a devil wing detail on each side. Meanwhile, the Patchouli model glasses feature stylish under-rim frames designed after her outfit with the moon and vertical stripes hand-painted in a cloisonné design. The temple tips are designed to look like ribbons and feature asymmetrical colors and a gold book detail on each side.
Perfect for cosplay or as an everyday fashion accessory, the glasses come with clear lenses, and also included with each is a lens cloth featuring artwork of Koakuma and Patchouli wearing the glasses and an exclusive case designed by illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. Plus, this set also comes with bonus magnetic parts for the Kokama model glasses and two face cards that can be used as glasses stands.
