In a world filled with magic and wonder, there lives a kind girl named Coco who dreams of becoming a witch. However, because the use of magic is an innate skill people are born with, her dream seems out of reach. Just when she is about to give up on her dream and resign herself to a boring, un-magical life, she meets a mysterious traveling magician named Qifrey. After secretly witnessing Qifrey casting a spell, she learns that the gift of magic might not be so innate after all. Ecstatic to know how magic works, she tries casting a spell herself, but accidentally turns her mother into stone! Now with the help of Qifrey and his disciples, she must embark on a magical journey in order to save her mother in this fantasy manga by Kamome Shirahama.

In Vol. 4, Coco becomes a full-fledged member of Qifrey's atelier, but her and her fellow apprentices are about to undergo their most challenging test yet. To pass the test, they must escort some feathered friends to their nesting grounds, but the path is fraught with ancient magical traps! As if that wasn’t bad enough, a member of the Brimmed Caps hides in wait for them, lurking in the shadows and ready to ambush them…
