Cardcaptor Sakura began as a popular shoujo manga series written and illustrated by CLAMP before being adapted into a much-loved television anime series. The franchise follows the adventures of 10-year-old Sakura Kinomoto who accidentally releases a set of magical cards, known as Clow Cards, and must then regain them all.
