This excellent model kit features the iconic Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira Racing bike, which was the bike of choice for legendary Japanese champion Tadahiko Taira! This excellent model fully recreates all of the iconic details of this landmark motorcycle that was designed for high-speed turning on winding roads with a compact 400cc body. The bike features Yamaha’s exclusive EXUP exhaust with a 998cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, 5-valve DOHC engine which is capable of putting out 150hp at maximum power. Now you can add this very special vehicle to your collection with this fantastic model kit! You’ll need some glue, side cutters and a modeling knife to assemble the bike, plus a selection of paints (glue, tools and paints sold separately), but once you do you’ll have another fantastic addition to your motorcycle collection.
