Asura’s Wrath is the hit game from Capcom which sees titular demigod Asura battle the various demonic forces who have betrayed him and wreaked havoc on the world of Gaea which has long been threatened by the dark forces of the Gohma.
In this extremely detailed diorama from Tsume, Asura stands atop the defeated body of a Taison whilst preparing to deal some serious blows to the Doji he’s captured in his other hand. Reflecting the bold color scheme of the game, the statue uses eye-catching metallic paints for Asura’s all-powerful arms and features his familiar blue and fire patterned outfit. The remains of the mechanical Taison beast contrast with the duller organic nature of the Doji held in Asura’s terrifying grip.
Like all of Tsume’s high-quality statues, the figure features a sculpted base, which in this case has been given an antique look reflecting the 1,200 years Asura was asleep before being re-awakened. As this statue is limited to 500, the base also features a metal plate with the figure’s edition number engraved onto it. This excellently crafted statue from Tsume is another in their line of fantastic dioramas. Snatch it up today - you don’t want to make Asura any angrier than he already is!
