The upcoming film is the franchise's first Japanese live action film. Directed by Yuichi Sato, it will star Ryohei Suzuki as Ryo and Misato Morita as Kaori.

Netflix's live action City Hunter film will stream worldwide on Netflix from April 25, 2024.
