Spin-off anime KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! has revealed its April 6 premiere date along with a third trailer and info on the opening and ending theme songs!
The opening theme song will be "STAY FREE" by voice actress and singer Machico. Fans can hear a snippet of the song in the above trailer.
Meanwhile, the ending theme song, "JUMPIN," is credited to Megumin (voiced by Rie Takahashi) and Yunyun (voiced by Aki Toyosaki), who will be taking center stage in the upcoming anime.
KonoSuba is adapted from the popular light novel series by Natsume Akatsuki with illustrations by Kurone Mishima. The first series of the TV anime aired in 2016, with Season 2 following in 2017. An anime film titled KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson premiered in 2019. A third season was also announced in June 2022.
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! will premiere in Japan on April 6, 2023.
