Kuroko's Basketball Anime to Launch 10th Anniversary Project With Original Song and More!

Sports anime Kuroko’s Basketball will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a project that starts this April!

Set to run for an entire year, the project includes a new song by GRANRODEO feat. Kensho Ono (the voice of Kuroko). Production I.G will return to produce an anime music video for the song.

Fans in Tokyo and Osaka can enjoy two exhibitions: "Kuroko's Basketball: Animation Gallery ~10 nen no Kiseki~" and "Kuroko's Basketball 10th anniversary Party!"

From April, a pop-up shop will also open for a year at Ikebukuro Parco department store. Finally, Ikebukuro's Namja Town will hold Kuroko-themed events while Namco amusement arcades will offer related prizes throughout the year.

Based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki's manga series, Kuroko’s Basketball follows former middle school champion player Tetsuya Kuroko as he vows to take his new high school to victory at the national tournament.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2012, with a second following in 2013 to 2014 and a third in 2015.
