One Punch Man Gets Hollywood Live Action Adaptation!

Superhero manga One Punch Man has a Hollywood live action adaptation in the works!

The live action project will be produced by Arad Productions for Sony Pictures, with a script by Venom’s Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.

Original webcomic creator ONE expressed his gratitude and excitement for the US adaptation on his personal Twitter account, stating that he too is looking forward to seeing how Saitama fares in Hollywood.

First released online in 2009, One Punch Man follows super strong hero Saitama, who is able to down any foe with a single punch. With a lack of opponents who can truly challenge him, Saitama takes on a cyborg disciple and joins the Hero Association, which employs people with superhuman abilities to protect the Earth from monsters and villains.

The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015, with a Season 2 broadcast in 2019.
