Code Black follows anthropomorphized cells who must combat the stress of an unhealthy lifestyle, including drinking, smoking, and lack of sleep.
Strike the Blood’s Yamamoto Hideo will direct with Liden Films producing. Cast confirmed so far includes: Enoki Junya as Red Blood Cell, Hikasa Yoko as White Blood Cell, and Tsuda Kenjirou as the Narrator.
Cells at Work: Code Black airs in Jan. 2021.
