It's finally been confirmed that anime movie Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 will open at cinemas across Japan on Jun. 27!
Created by Anno Hideaki, the Evangelion franchise follows teenagers who are chosen to pilot mecha in order to protect humanity from hostile beings called Angels.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 is the fourth and final installment in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series, produced by Studio Khara as a remake of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. Its first installment, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. premiered in 2007, followed by Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 opens at cinemas across Japan on Jun. 27, 2020.
