Tokyo Ghoul:re will be returning for Season 2 on Oct. 9!
Alongside the broadcast date, the show has released a new visual with protagonist Haise Sasaki back to his former self, Kaneki Ken. It has also been confirmed that vocalist and guitarist TK of rock band Ling Tosite Sigure will perform the series’ opening theme “katharsis” under his solo name TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. He also performed "Unravel", the opening theme for the first season of Tokyo Ghoul.
Based on Ishida Sui’s hit manga, Tokyo Ghoul:re is the sequel to the original Tokyo Ghoul series and follows amnesiac protagonist Sasaki Haise as he takes charge of a special group of CCG officers known as a the Quinx squad.
Tokyo Ghoul:re Season 2 will air from Oct. 9.
