Anime Adaptation of Rage of Bahamut Greenlit, PV and Information on Staff Releases

An anime adaptation of the social game Rage of Bahamut developed by Cygames and currently available on Mobage has been greenlit. The title of the anime is Rage of Bahamut: Genesis. An official site for the anime has opened on which a promotional video and information on the staff have been released.

Keiichi Satō of Tiger & Bunny fame is directing and Naoyuki Onda who has worked as the character designer on many anime including Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Hiiro no Kakera, and *Berserk: Golden Age Arc I: The Egg of the King is the character designer and chief animation director. The animation is being produced by Mappa, a studio formed in 2011 by the former president of Madhouse, Masao Maruyama, whose representative work is Kids on the Slope.
