First Volume BD/DVD for Second Season of “Oreimo” to Include Short Movie and Audio Dramas

Last month, the second season of the TV anime Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (aka Oreimo) began. On April 14, it was announced that the first volume Blu-ray and DVD for season two will be released on June 19. Furthermore, a limited edition will also be released that includes a short movie and audio dramas. The limited edition Blu-ray and DVD will cost 7,350 yen and 6,300 yen, respectively, and the regular edition DVD will cost 5,250 yen (all prices include tax).

The short movie “My and Akagi’s Adult Day” will be included on the anime disc. The story follows Kousaka Kyosuke and Akagi Sena as they go shopping together in Akihabara. The CD audio drama will contain two stories: “Love Touch 2: There’s No Way My Girlfriend’s Sequel Can Be Announced” and “There’s No Way My Little Sister and I Can Have a Love Story in Bed.” Both stories were written by the series’ author, Tsukasa Fushimi. This media mix includes content from the original story that isn’t included in the anime, as well as a revised new episode.

Also included in the limited edition will be a short story called “10 Year Reunion.” This story is also written by Fushimi. What kind of story this will be has yet to be revealed, and anticipation is rising for fans of the series.
