Hinata Takeshi's basketball manga Ahiru no Sora is getting a TV anime adaptation!
More than 24 million copies of the basketball manga are in circulation, and after 14 years of serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine, an anime is definitely long overdue.
Set in Kuzuryuu High School, a school where the basketball team has been overrun with delinquents, Ahiru no Sora follows the struggles and growth of protagonist Kurumatani Sora.
Some of the staff has been announced, as well, including Kusakawa Keizou as supervising director, Tamaki Shingo as director, Zappa Gou as writer, Honda Yoshino as character designer, and Diomedéa as the animating studio.
