The upcoming live action film adaptation of Kubo Tite's popular manga Bleach has released its very first trailer!
The 30-second teaser shows Kurosaki Ichigo (Fukushi Sota) rocking his trademark orange hair as a high school student and then transforming into an amateur Shinigami. Mysterious Shinigami Kuchiki Rukia (Sugisaki Hana) also appears enlisting Ichigo's help to fight against the approaching Hollow, an evil spirit.
This is the manga's first live action film adaptation and is directed by Satou Shinsuke, who has previously headed other high-profile live action adaptations like Gantz and Death Note: Light Up the New World.
Bleach is slated to premiere on Jul. 20 in Japanese cinemas.
