Snow Miku Dazzles Fans at SNOW MIKU 2018 Festival! [Photo Report]

Snow Miku was originally created from a collaboration between Japan's virtual singer Hatsune Miku and Sapporo Snow Festival, held in Sapporo, Japan. Looking a little cosier than usual, Snow Miku is loved by countless fans as a character who livens up Hokkaido every year!

This year's Snow Miku is themed "Crane Priestess"!
We are running a giveaway for Snow Miku until end of February 2018, so be sure to check it out, too!

During Feb. 5~12, Sapporo held Snow Miku 2018, a festival for Snow Miku to bring some cheer to Hokkaido. The famous Sapporo Snow Festival was also going on at the same time, with the now traditional Miku-themed snow sculpture bringing joy to the visitors.

There were light shows held at night too.
Miku's pet, Rabbit Yukine, makes an appearance through an adorable illumination!

Snow Miku could also be found in many other places throughout the city of Sapporo.

Inside buildings...
... on the sides of trains...
... and around the subway too.
We even bumped into a real live Snow Miku, one of many passionate fans who came in cosplay!

During the festival, the virtual singer sang and danced for fans at Snow Miku Live, where she was brought to life with 3D projection made possible by special technology!

Fans also flocked to visit Sapporo Snow Factory on Feb. 10 and 11 for Miku merchandise, exhibits and talk events.

Another special occasion - Kagamine Rin and Ren's 10th anniversary!

Plenty of Snow Miku can also be found at New Chitose Airport's Snow Miku Sky Town, with more goods and exhibits to enjoy!

Spend some quality time with Miku by looking at the exhibits with AR app "Miku Sanpo".

Missed out on this year’s Snow Miku Festival? Never fear, as you can get your fix at Tokyo Otaku Mode, where a selection of merchandise from Snow Miku Sky Town is on sale! The TOM Shop is also running a special Snow Miku giveaway, so be sure to check it out here!
