Tokyo-based Internet connected consumer electronics manufacturer Cerevo Inc. has developed a dazzling smart toy replica of Kirito’s sword Elucidator from Sword Art Online!
This 1/1 scale replica is a part of Cerevo's “S2R - From Screen to the Real World” project, which produces models of objects and devices from anime, manga and other pop culture.
There are 2,000 LEDs embedded along the length of the sword, activated by 6 different sensors. Thrust or swing the sword and the patterns will glitter and flash accordingly! To go along with that, the sword also has hidden speakers that emits awesome sound effects to match the movements of the sword.
The best part, though? Passionately yell one of the Elucidator’s sword skills while swinging it around, and the voice-activated software will light up and emit sound effects as though it were actually happening in-game!
The sword also comes with a special smartphone app. Available for both iOS and Android, the app allows fans to adjust LED color, LED brightness, speaker volume, and more.
Cerevo’s Elucidator will be available for purchase in mid-2018.
